When choosing a hotel, consider not only the base room rate but also whether parking is included (which might add another $20-$25 per day) and the hotel’s proximity to the places you want to visit. Generally, the closer you are to Inner Harbor, the more expensive the room, but many hotels offer great weekend packages with aquarium tickets or other extras.
At Inner Harbor East, on water taxi route, about 1/4 mile from Aquarium ($119 - $209). Some room rates include breakfast, aquarium tickets, or other package deals.

A luxury hotel just across the street from Harborplace ($169 - $229). On a recent March weekend, we booked their Aquarium Package for $209, including a double room, free parking, and two adult Aquarium tickets (a $50 value).
